Zack Andrusiak has been named the Cincinnati Cyclones player of the week, and deservedly so, the star forward put together an impressive weekend as the Cyclones took on the Toledo Walleye on Friday inside Heritage Bank Center. Zack had an assist on the goal by Nick Isaacson at the 19:22 mark in the third period which put him at 28 assists on the season. He followed that up with a stellar performance on Saturday night against the Fort Wayne Komets on their home ice. He started Cincinnati’s scoring off with a goal (21) at 13:56 into the first period, with Panwar and Polino both assisting, followed by his second of the evening (22) on the year at the 12:17 mark of the second with Hawerchuk and Smereck assisting, he completed the hat trick shortly after at the 14:08 mark of the second period which made number (23) on the season with Hawerchuk again assisting along with Bjorgvik-Holm.
On Sunday, the Cyclones again took on the Komets, and once again, Zack opened the scoring at 11:22 into the first period, taking his goal total to (24) on the season so far, with Panwar and Fraser assisting. Zack would finish the weekend with 4 goals and 1 assist as the Cyclones closed the weekend’s action out with a sweep of the Komets after falling at home to the Walleye.

Another busy weekend is coming up in Cincinnati as the Cyclones look to take on Iowa Heartlanders this upcoming Friday and Saturday and will finish off the weekend on Sunday at home against the Maine Mariners before going back on the road Tuesday, Feb 27, to take on Fuel.
