Edmonton Oilers Sign Kings Forward to 2-Year Deal

The Edmonton Oilers have made an exciting signing, bringing winger Viktor Arvidsson on board with a two-year contract worth $4 million AAV. Despite some injury concerns, Arvidsson is expected to make a significant impact on the team’s top lines alongside the Oilers’ star players. This signing comes at a crucial time, with Warren Foegele departing in free agency to the Los Angeles Kings, where Arvidsson and Foegele traded places.

It’s interesting to note that the Oilers have faced Arvidsson and the Kings in the first round of the playoffs for the past three years, and now, hopefully, Arvidsson can break past the first round with the team that’s eliminated him three years in a row. At $4 million AAV, this contract seems like a good deal, offering both potential and reasonable cost. It’s a significant move for the Oilers, and fans are eager to see how Arvidsson’s addition will unfold under new management since Ken Holland’s departure.
