FloSports To Expand AHL Coverage

The AHL and FloSports have agreed to a multi-year extension of their media partnerships which is highlighted by AHLTV will now become AHLTV on Flohockey. They will broadcast all AHL Regular Season Game along with the Calder Cup Playoffs. FloSports has been involved with the AHL since 2005, as their LeagueStat system has been utilized by the league for real-time scoring and stats.

“AHLTV moving to FloHockey represents a seismic shift in the professional hockey media landscape that will exponentially grow the American Hockey League’s reach and footprint, while solidifying FloHockey as the ultimate home for hockey with access to virtually all teams in the NHL’s development system,” said Josh Siskin, FloSports GM of FloHockey. “The AHL has built a great product for fans both on and off the ice, and this partnership will help push both the AHL and FloHockey to new heights.”

This is huge for Flo Hockey, as this now puts streaming for all ECHL and AHL games in one place, making it a destination for fans with more than 21,000 games on Flo Sports. The ECHL and FloS Along with the deal, FloSports is delivering state-of-the-art encoders to every AHL team, which will enhance the viewing experience for fans. Flo Sports will begin putting select live games in front of the paywall for fans beginning with pre-season games and will be the presenting sponsor for the first week of the regular season along with the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs.
