Sweden suffered an overtime loss to Canada on Wednesday to start the tournament. Even with the loss they still came away with a point. Sweden got goals from Jonas Brodin, Adrian Kempe, and Joel Eriksson Ek. Filip Gustavsson got the start in the loss giving up four goals on 28 shots.
