Detroit: Lucas Raymond (31-41-72)

Raymond got his extension and will be with the Red Wings for quite a while he’s had success against the Penguins as he has recorded ten points on five goals and five assists in nine games; last season in three games against the Penguins he had six points on five goals and an assist. He finished the 2023-24 season with 72 points on 31 goals and 41 assists.

Pittsburgh: Sidney Crosby (42-52-94)

Crosby last night in the season opener was a minus-two with two shots on goal. He is still one of the best players on the planet, last season he had 94 points on 42 goals and 52 assists. In his career against the Red Wings, he’s played in 35 games recording 44 points on 18 goals and 26 assists; last season in three games he had six points two goals, and four assists, the one game against the Red Wings he was held without a goal last season was the only game the Penguins lost.
