Hop on the Coyotes Wagon

The Arizona Coyotes are brewing up something pretty special out in the Valley of the Sun. You better hop on before the wagon gets full. To their rising young talent like Logan Cooley and Michael Kesselring. Veteran Players Clayton Keller, Lawson Crouse, and Alexander Kerfoot all leading the way to the teams success halfway through the season.

Five-game winning streak against Lord Stanley’s past Five winners

After a three-game losing streak, the Coyotes had an even tougher look ahead, facing the past five Stanley Cup champions. But in turn, the infamous team battled it out. Vegas, St. Louis, Tampa, Colorado, and Washington all taken down by a hard-fought and determined Coyotes team. Then, the team faced a four-game losing streak right after a tough stretch of five games. But made a quick turnaround going 6-1-0 in their past seven games. With an exciting five-goal comeback victory over the Avalanche on 12/27. And a 2-0 win out in Anaheim on 12/29, the Coyotes are not messing around this year. The team looks to play meaningful games towards the end of the season.

Where the team stands now

As we are halfway through the season, the Coyotes now have taken the wild card one spot and stand in fourth place in the Central division. They’re not a team to take easy this year. Clayton Keller remains an All-Star, posting 31 points in 35 games played, Lawson Crouse team leading 16 goals, and Alexander Kerfoot is making a strong presence to the yotes squad and filling the role of 1st line center Barrett Hayton very well. Kerfoot has been an elite all-around player for the Coyotes, putting up points on the first line with Keller and Schmaltz, dominating on the penalty kill, and a great 200 ft game. Crouse, coming off a career-high 45-point season, looks to extend that point total, as he shows no signs of slowing down with 22 points in 33 games this season. Keller, on the other hand, has played exceptionally well, not just on the scoresheet but his all-around game. Stripping pucks away to some great back-checking, Keller shows why he is an all-star in today’s fast-paced game.

Young guns coming in hot.

Logan Cooley is no doubt going to be a star. Having 18 points so far into the season, he’s been showing signs of improvement each game. His forechecking, slick passes and his use of not being afraid to throw the body around is something that makes all yotes fans very excited to watch this kids future in the Valley! Another young stud coming out from the Coyotes farm team, the Tucson Roadrunners, Michael Kesselring. Facing defensive injuries, Kesselring has stepped in and has made a strong case to be a top-four D-man on the Coyotes blue line. With 9 points in 18 games and a +3 rating, Kesselring has made himself loved here quickly by Coyotes fans. The wagon is getting full, as many NHL fans around the league have taken notice; the Coyotes are a hot topic!
