Vancouver Canucks GM Patrik Allvin announced that Ian Cole, Teddy Bleuger, and Tristen Nielsen all have agreed to terms with the team.
Ian Cole has signed a one-year, $3 Million contract. The 34-year-old, most recently with the Lightning, has found success everywhere he’s been. The Veteran has 748 Games played in 12 seasons with 182 pts and plays bigger than his 6’1″ 225lbs frame seems.
Second, on the newly signed Canucks is Teddy Bleuger, a solid center coming off of a Stanley Cup win with Vegas signed for a very reasonable $1.9 Million. Blueger should be able to fill the 3C spot for the Canucks; with a 49.2% Faceoff win percentage on his career and his experience on the Penalty Kill, it’s exactly what Canucks fans have been looking for.
The final signing is Tristen Nielsen, the 23-year-old BC Native who went undrafted and signed with the Abbotsford Canucks in 2021. Last year with Abbotsford, the Left Shot Center had 41 points in 64 games played in the regular season and had 4 points in the 9 Playoff games.
All in all, this seems like a win for the Canucks, filling in needs and not overspending for years. Stay connected to Inside the Rink on Twitter & Facebook for all the breaking signings.
