In the second half of the first period of Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Boston Bruins, Boston Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke was hit into the boards by Maple Leafs forward Max Pacioretty. Peeke continued to leave the ice in some discomfort, and the Bruins later confirmed that Peeke would not return to the game.
Pacioretty was assessed a five minute major on the play, which was reviewed and overturned; there was no penalty.
