8:00PM EST 11/9/2023

Kevin Weekes reports that Jack Hughes’s injury timeline may end about three weeks from the time of injury. Also, Weekes said that Hughes is doing everything he can physically and mentally to get back out there healthy as soon as possible. According to Weekes, the Nico Hischier injury is more of a question mark.

MAX WILLMAN CALLED UP TO REPLACE HUGHES

Max Willman has been recalled from the Utica Comets to join the New Jersey Devils in Chicago. It seems as if this is what we needed to see to get a hint of the condition of Jack Hughes. The Devils organization and Coach Lindy Ruff are very quiet and sometimes misleading regarding reporting players’ injuries. Because of this, fans are worried both Nico Hischier’s and Jack Hughes’s injuries are worse than we are aware of. They have every right to think that way after looking at the recent past and how Devils star’s injuries have been reported, usually said to be a lot less significant than the reality behind the scenes.
