Inside The Rink ECHL Player Of The Week | 02/4/2024

The ECHL team at Inside The Rink has named Worcester Railers forward Blade Jenkins as their ECHL Player of the Week. Jenkins had an unreal week, putting up back-to-back hat tricks against the Trois Rivieres Lions on Friday and Saturday, and finished the week with six goals and two assists for eight points over the course of those two games.

The 23-year-old forward has put up 20 goals, and 23 assists for 43 points in 42 games this season with the Railers; he had eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 21 games last year, which was his first with the Railers. Prior to joining the Railers, Jenkins spent three seasons in the AHL with the Bridgeport Islanders after being drafted in the fifth round by the New York Islanders in the 2018 NHL Draft; he has 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 89 AHL games.
