ITR’s 2025 Trade Deadline Big Board 

We are just 26 days away from the NHL Trade Deadline which will take place on March 7th. We’ve already seen a flurry of trades since January 24th with nine trades taking place and names like Mikko Rantanen and JT Miller being traded away. Rantanen was acquired by the Hurricanes while Miller was dealt to the Rangers. With the Four Nations Faceoff taking place over the next week and a half more trades might come through so with that it’s time to release the 2025 Trade Deadline Big Board for Inside The Rink.

2025 Trade Deadline Big Board

1.) Forward – Brock NelsonNew York Islanders 

Nelson is 33 years old and is playing in his 12th season. This season he’s played in 55 games recording 35 points on 17 goals and 18 assists; he’s also a plus one. The Islanders are trying to lock Nelson up so he may end up not being available.

2.) Forward – Richard RakellPittsburgh Penguins

Rakell is 31-years-old playing in his 13th season. This season in 56 games he has 48 points on 25 goals and 23 assists; he is a -14. 

3.) Forward – Dylan CozensBuffalo Sabres

Cozens turned 24 years old yesterday and is in his fifth season. In 54 games this season he has 27 points on 11 goals and 16 assists; he is a -18.

4.) Defenseman – Rasmus RistolainenPhiladelphia Flyers 

Ristolainen is 30 years old and is in his 12th season. This season in 54 games he has 15 points on two goals and 13 assists; he is a plus-three. 

5.) Defenseman – Bowen Bryam – Buffalo Sabres 

Bryam is 23 years old and is playing in his fifth season. Bryam has played in 54 games recording 29 points on seven goals and 22 assists; he is a plus-nine. 

6.) Defenseman – Carson SoucyVancouver Canucks 

Soucy is 30 years old and is in his seventh season. In 54 games this season he has eight points on two goals and six assists; he’s a -15. 

7.) Defenseman – Seth JonesChicago Blackhawks 

Jones is in his age 30 season and is playing in his 12th season. Jones has played in 38 games recording 26 points on six goals and 20 assists; he is a -12.

8.) Forward – Brad MarchandBoston Bruins 

Marchand is 36 years old and is in his 16th season. This season in 57 games he has 44 points on 20 goals and 24 assists; he is a minus-seven. 

9.) Forward – Brock Boeser – Vancouver Canucks 

Boeser will turn 28 at the end of the month and he is playing in his ninth season. In 48 games he has 35 points on 18 goals and 17 assists; he is a -15. 

10.) Forward – Ryan O’ReillyNashville Predators

O’Reilly just turned 34 and is in his 16th season. O’Reilly has played in 51 games this season recording 34 points on 14 goals and 20 assists; he is a -18.

11.) Forward – Casey MittelstadtColorado Avalanche 

Mittelstadt is 26 years old and is playing in his eighth season. Mittelstadt has played in 57 games recording 32 points on nine goals and 23 assists; he is a -13.

12.) Forward – Brayden SchennSt. Louis Blues 

Schenn is in his age 33 season, he’s played 16 seasons in the NHL. Schenn has played in 56 games this season recording 32 points on 11 goals and 21 assists; he is a minus-seven 

13.) Forward – Brandon TanevSeattle Kraken 

Tanev is 33 years old and is in his tenth season. In 55 games this season he has 17 points on nine goals and eight assists; he is a -11.

14.) Forward – Kyle Palmieri – New York Islanders 

Palmieri just turned 34 at the beginning of the month and is in his 15th season. Palmieri has played in 55 games this season recording 37 points on 16 goals and 21 assists; he’s a minus-six. 

15.) Defenseman – Jamie Oleksiak – Seattle Kraken 

Oleksiak is 32 years old and is in his 13th season. This season in 57 games he has 13 points on four goals and nine assists; he’s a minus-seven. 

16.) Forward – Trent Frederic – Boston Bruins 

Frederic will turn 27 on Tuesday and is currently in his seventh season. In 55 games this season, he has 15 points on eight goals and seven assists; he’s a -13.

17.) Defenseman – David SavardMontreal Canadiens

Savard is 34 years old and is currently playing in his 14th season. This season in 50 games he has 11 points on a goal and ten assists; he’s a minus-seven. 

18.) Defenseman – Ivan ProvorovColumbus Blue Jackets

Provorov is 28 years old and is in his ninth season. In 56 games this season he has 25 points on six goals and 19 assists; he’s a plus-five. 

19.) Forward – Joel Armia – Montreal Canadiens 

Armia is 31 years old and is in his 11th season. Armia has played in 56 games this season recording 24 points on ten goals and 14 assists; he’s a plus-one. 

20.) Forward – Ryan Donato – Chicago Blackhawks 

Donato is 28 and is in his eighth season. This season in 53 games Donato’s recorded 37 points on 19 goals and 18 assists; he’s a minus-three. 

21.) Forward – Yanni Gourde – Seattle Kraken 

Gourde is 33 years old and is in his tenth season. He’s been out since January 2nd but in 35 games this season he has 16 points on six goals and ten assists; he’s a minus-five. 

22.) Goalie – John GibsonAnaheim Ducks 

Gibson is 31 years old and is in his 12th season. In 23 games he is 9-9-2 and has a .914 save percentage and a 2.69 goals-against average. 

23.) Forward – Jake Evans – Montreal Canadiens 

Evans is 28 years old and is playing in his sixth season. In 56 games Evans has recorded 27 points on 11 goals and 16 assists; he’s a plus two. 

24.) Defenseman – Mario FerraroSan Jose Sharks 

Ferraro is 26 years old and is in the sixth season. Ferraro has played in 57 games recording 11 points on five goals and six assists; he is a -24.

25.) Defenseman – Connor Murphy – Chicago Blackhawks 

Murphy is in his age 31 season and is in his 12th season. This season in 42 games he has 13 points on a goal and 12 assists; he’s a minus-five. 

26.) Defenseman – Brian Dumoulin – Anaheim Ducks
