Dmitry Kulikov Signs With Florida Panthers

Dmitry Kulikov and the Florida Panthers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $1 million annually. Kulikov was originally drafted in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft 14th overall by the Panthers, this becomes a nice reunion for the team and the player. Bill Zito was looking for a big and mobile defenseman, and now he’s got that.

Dmitry Kulikov Stats

Kulikov, a former Winnipeg Jets defenseman, most recently spent time split between the Anaheim Ducks (61 games) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (6 games). Kulikov, with his experience as a former Florida Panther and veteran presence, will be a great depth addition for the Panthers as they look to make a move for another Stanley Cup Final.

Dmitry Kulikov will be an unrestricted free agent once his contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season.
