Tonight will be the second battle of the Robertsons this season, with Leafs’ forward Nick getting the better of his brother Jason as he led the Leafs to an overtime win. Since then, Stars’ forward Jason has been on a tear, only having 2 games where he didn’t record a point. He is currently on a 18 game point streak, one shy of Marner’s 19 game point streak. Will Marner and J. Roberston be able to continue their point streaks tonight?

3 Things to Look Out For
1. Semyon Der-Arguchintsev
After the Leafs traded down their draft pick for two picks in 2018, the Leafs selected Rasmus Sandin and Der-Arguchintsev. Sandin has spent some time in the NHL, and tonight SDA makes his debut. SDA played on the Peterborough Petes with Robertson in the OHL. This year he found himself becoming quite the effective player in the AHL, recording 18 points in 20 games. We will see what element he can bring to this Leafs team and if he can add to the team’s second powerplay unit.
2. Conor Timmins
Timmins is drawing into his first game with the Leafs since being acquired. The former Soo. Greyhound will be paired with Mete tonight and will look to help swing the possession metrics in the Leafs’ favor in his minutes. Timmins has potential, although his biggest issue has been staying healthy. Hopefully, we will get a chance to see what a healthy Timmins can add to the lineup.
3. Nick Robertson
Robertson has played well in games against his brother and having his mom in attendance is likely to be a boost, too, even though she will be wearing a Dallas jersey tonight. Nick has not had the best start to the season, as he found himself on the Marlies early on and has been scratched multiple games as well. He has played 2 games in a row, though, so hopefully, he is able to start building some momentum and show that he should stick with the NHL club as a member of their active roster.
Tonight, the Battle of the Robertsons starts at 8:30 pm EST. The game can be watched on Sportsnet.
