The NHL is announcing daily the Quarter Century teams for all 32 teams. Today they revealed the Los Angeles Kings two teams. The first team forwards were Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, and Anze Kopitar on defense Drew Doughty and Alec Martinez and the goalie was Jonathan Quick. The second team forwards are Adrian Kempe, Ziggy Palffy, and Justin Williams, on defense it’s Mattias Norstrom and Lubomir Visnovsky, and finally, the goalie is Felix Potvin.

First Team
Dustin Brown
The Kings drafted Brown 13th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He spent all 18 seasons of his NHL career with the Kings. Brown appeared in 1,296 games recording 712 points on 325 goals and 387 assists. He won the Messier Leadership Award in 2013-14. He was a two-time Stanley Cup Champion.
Jeff Carter
Los Angeles acquired Carter on February 23, 2012. He’s spent all ten seasons with the Kings. He would play in 580 games recording 383 points on 194 goals and 189 assists. Carter played in one All-Star game. He won two Stanley Cups during his tenure with the Kings.
Anze Kopitar
The Kings drafted Kopitar 11th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He’s spent all 19 seasons in Los Angeles playing in 1,420 games. He has recorded 1,254 points on 431 goals and 823 assists. Kopitar won two Stanley Cups. He has won two Selke’s, as well as a two-time Lady Byng Memorial Trophy winner, and won the Messier Leadership Award in 2021-22.
Drew Doughty
Los Angeles selected Doughty second overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He’s spent all 16 seasons of his career with the Kings. He’s played in 1,177 games recording 669 points on 156 goals and 513 assists. He won two Stanley Cups. Doughty won the Norris Trophy in 2015-16 and is a four-time All-Star. He returns to the Kings’ lineup tonight against the Florida Panthers.
Alec Martinez
The Kings drafted Martinez 95th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He spent his first 11 seasons with the Kings playing in 597 games recording 198 points on 62 goals and 136 assists. He won two Stanley Cups in his tenure with the Kings including scoring the game-winning goal to secure the second Stanley Cup in overtime of game five.
Jonathan Quick
Los Angeles drafted Quick with the 72nd overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He spent the first 16 seasons of his NHL career with the Kings appearing in 743 games. Quick was 370-275-82 with a .911 save percentage a 2.46 goals-against average and 57 shutouts. He won two Jennings Awards one in 2013-14 and the other in 2017-18. Quick finished in the top five of the Vezina voting three times with his highest finish being second in 2011-12. He was a two-time All-Star and won two Stanley Cups. In the first Stanley Cup, he was the Conn Smythe Award winner.

Second Team
Adrian Kempe
The Kings drafted Kempe 29th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He’s in his ninth NHL season all with the Kings. In 596 games he’s recorded 372 points on 183 goals and 189 assists. He was an All-Star for the 2021-22 season.
Ziggy Palffy
Los Angeles acquired Palffy on June 20, 1999. He spent five seasons with the Kings. In 311 games he recorded 340 points on 150 goals and 190 assists. He went to two All-Star games during his time with the Kings.
Justin Williams
Los Angeles traded for Williams on March 4, 2009. Williams spent seven seasons with the Kings playing in 427 games. He recorded 266 points on 103 goals and 163 assists. He won two Stanley Cups during his tenure with Los Angeles and won the Conn Smythe for the 2013-14 Cup.
Mattias Norstrom
The Kings acquired Norstrom on March 14, 1996. He spent 11 seasons in Los Angeles playing in 780 games recording 142 points on 14 goals and 128 assists. He went to one All-Star game.
Lubomir Visnovsky
Los Angeles drafted Visnovsky 118th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He spent his first seven seasons with the Kings. Visnovsky appeared in 499 games recording 279 points on 70 goals and 209 assists. He finished fourth in the Calder Memorial Trophy voting in 2000-01.
Felix Potvin
The Kings acquired Potvin on February 15, 2001. He spent three seasons with Los Angeles playing in 136 games going 61-52-16 with a 2.35 goals-against average, a .905 save percentage, and 14 shutouts. He finished seventh in Vezina voting in 2001-02.
