Los Angeles Kings Sign Five

The Los Angeles Kings today brought in five players as they signed forwards Joel Armia and Corey Perry as well as defenseman Brian Dumoulin, Cody Ceci, and goalie Anton Forsberg to a contract. Armia signed a two-year $2.5 million AAV deal. Perry is a one-year deal with a $3.5 million AAV. Then, in a flurry, they announced the signings of Dumoulin, Ceci, and Forsberg. Dumoulin is a three-year deal with a $4 million AAV, and Ceci is a four-year deal with a $4.5 million AAV. Forsberg is a two-year deal with a $2.25 million AAV.

Joel Armia

Armia in 81 games last season had 29 points on 11 goals and 18 assists. He was a minus-two with three power-play points and three shorthanded goals. In 586 games in his career, he recorded 207 points on 103 goals and 104 assists. He is a -11 with 24 power-play goals and 17 shorthanded goals.

Corey Perry

Perry, in 81 games last season, had 30 points on 19 goals and 11 assists. He was a +12 with seven power-play points and 61 penalty minutes. In 20 seasons, he’s played in 1,392 games, recording 935 points on 448 goals and 487 assists. He is a career +57 with 1,487 penalty minutes, and 288 power-play points.

Brian Dumoulin

Dumoulin, in 80 games, had 22 points on three goals and 19 assists. He was a minus-one between Anaheim and New Jersey last season with 14 penalty minutes, 109 blocked shots, and 74 hits. In 706 career games, he has 177 points on 28 goals and 149 assists. He is a +95 with 180 penalty minutes, 1004 blocked shots, and 908 hits.

Cody Ceci

Ceci, in 85 games last season, had 24 points on four goals and 20 assists. He was a plus-six between San Jose and Dallas with 155 blocked shots and 76 hits. In 871 career games, he has 235 points on 52 goals and 183 assists. Ceci is a career plus-two with 1,405 blocked shots and 1,187 hits.

Anton Forsberg

Forsberg in 30 games last season, went 11-12-3 with a 2.72 goals-against average, a .901 save percentage, and three shutouts. In 190 career games, he is 74-81-14 with a 3.04 goals-against average, a .904 save percentage, and eight shutouts.
