Luke Morgan Returns to Kalamazoo

Luke “Lucas” Morgan is returning to the Kalamazoo Wings after 28 games with the club last season. Hailing from Brighton, MI, at 5’11 inches and 190 lbs, this 26-year-old scored six goals and 12 assists in that time with six penalty minutes. He started the season with the Kansas City Mavericks, scoring three goals and six assists with six penalty minutes in 20 games.

Another University of Michigan product, he played four seasons in Maize and Blue, putting up 16 goals, 28 assists, and 35 penalty minutes in 137 games total. His first year in the NCAA was with Lake Superior State, playing 36 games, scoring seven games, 15 assists, and 18 penalty minutes.

Morgan is a reliable, fast forward who creates great scoring chances for himself and others. He is the 15th player announced by the club and the second LW that is signed. Expect to see him on the second or third line.

The home opener for the Kalamazoo Wings is October 21, 2023, against the Toledo Walleye at Wings Event Center. We are still waiting for the club to announce the final few signings.
