Earlier today, it was announced that Marc-Andre Fleury is returning to where it all started as he is signing a PTO with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The agreement reportedly came with three mini Cups, three Stanley Cup rings, and a bathrobe. Fleury will play in Pittsburgh’s preseason game on September 27th against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Fleury spent the first 13 seasons of his NHL career with the Penguins. He went 375-216-68 with a .912 save percentage, a 2.58 goals-against average, and 44 shutouts in 691 games.

He also led the Penguins to three Stanley Cup championships. In 115 career playoff games with Pittsburgh. He went 107-62-51 with a .908 save percentage, a 2.65 goals-against average, and ten shutouts. This is likely just for Fleury to suit up one last time for the team he started his career with. But maybe just maybe he gives it one last ride with the Penguins.
