The Nashville Predators picked up a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks in a shootout. It was the Predators’ second straight win and fourth in their last six. During last night’s game, they inducted three people into the Golden Hall. Two of them were former players, and the other was their former hockey operations president and General Manager. Pekka Rinne and Shea Weber were the players while David Poile was the other.

Pekka Rinne
Nashville drafted Rinne with the 258th overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He spent all 15 seasons of his career with the Predators. He appeared in 683 games going 369-213-75 with a .917 save percentage and a 2.43 goals-against average; he had 60 shutouts. Rinne was a two-time All-Star. He also won the Vezina Trophy for the 2017-18 seasons when he went 42-13-4 with a .927 save percentage and a 2.31 goals-against average; he had eight shutouts. He also won the 2020-21 King Clancy Memorial Trophy for Leadership and Humanitarian Contribution.
Shea Weber
The Predators drafted Weber with the 49th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Weber spent the first 11 seasons of his NHL career in Nashville. He played in 763 games recording 443 points on 166 goals and 277 assists. He was a plus 48 for his career and had 187 power-play points. Weber was a four-time All-Star and won the NHL Mark Messier Leadership Award in 2015-16. He finished in the top five in Norris Trophy voting five times in his 11 seasons with Nashville. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this season.
David Poile
Poile was the president of hockey operations and general manager for Nashville from 1997-2023. Poile was also inducted into the Hall of Fame this season. While General Manager the Predators went 939-718-178 with 60 ties. They made the playoffs 15 times reaching the Stanley Cup once. He was also named the Jim Gregory General Manager of the Year in 2017.
