Nashville, early contenders for most aggressive on day one, are adding Schenn to a depth chart that includes Roman Josi, Tyson Barrie, and Ryan McDonough.
The Predators were able to free up the room to be aggressive in free agency when they made the trade of Johansen to the Avs and bought out Matt Duchene. With many stating that new GM Barry Trotz is looking to add high-character players to the locker room, Schenn fits that bill well.
