The New Jersey Devils have announced that goaltender Vitek Vanecek will not be available for the Devils Stadium Series game this Saturday vs. the Philadelphia Flyers as he is suffering from a lower-body injury. Vanecek is having a rough year with New Jersey as he’s gone 17-9-3 with a 3.18 GAA and .890SV%. The former second-round pick of the Washington Capitals is in his second year with the Devils after leading them to the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season.
