The New York Rangers this morning re-signed 23-year-old restricted free agent forward Brendan Brisson. The deal is for one year with a two-way option. The deal includes a $775K NHL AAV and a $100K minors AAV. The contract also includes a $125K guarantee. Brisson was acquired this season in the trade that saw Reilly Smith head to Vegas. In 71 games between the Henderson Silver Knights and Hartford Wolf Pack. He recorded 25 points on seven goals and 18 assists. He was a -33 with two power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 46 penalty minutes. In 16 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, he had six points on two goals and four assists.
