Anaheim Ducks News & Notes:

The Ducks lost on Saturday 6-3 to the Chicago Blackhawks. They’ve now lost three of their last four after winning four straight. In their last four games, they are averaging 3.50 goals per game while allowing four goals per game. That four-game stretch was what they needed to get back into the playoff race in the Western Conference but things went south.

Edmonton Oilers News & Notes:

The Oilers snapped their five-game skid on Saturday with a 3-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. In their last six games, they are averaging 2.83 goals per game while allowing 4.50 goals per game. Despite the skid, they are still in second place in the Pacific Division trailing Vegas by four points and leading the Kings by four points.
