The Ducks picked up their second straight win on Saturday with a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators. With the win, they improved to 5-6-2 in January and are averaging 2.46 goals per game while allowing an average of 3.23 goals per game. Mason McTavish is on a three-game goal streak having scored five goals in three games. The Ducks entering tonight are nine points back of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Seattle Kraken News & Notes:

The Kraken suffered a 4-2 loss last night to the Edmonton Oilers. It was their second loss in their last three games and they now dropped to 5-7-1 in January. They are averaging 2.92 goals per game this month while allowing 3.31 goals per game. They are eight point back on the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and are ahead of the Ducks by one point.
