Buffalo Sabres Notes:

It seems like every year hope is surrounding the Sabres, and then they have a 1-4-0 start and give up 24 goals in 5 games. That’s what happened to start the 2024-25 season. Buffalo has tremendous young talent, but they must find a way to keep the puck out of their net. Until the Sabres can figure things out defensively, the hope is just that.

Chicago Blackhawks Notes:

Chicago tries to stay unbeaten at home against a Sabres team that has struggled on the road this season (0-2-1). The Blackhawks have been better with their structure in their defensive zone, allowing only 14 goals in 5 games, good for 12th best in the league.

Malenstyn-Krebs-Lafferty
