The Hurricanes had their eight game win streak snapped yesterday in a 7-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. They dropped to 8-2-0 in March averaging three goals per game while allowing two goals per game. Scott Morrow is on a three game point streak recording a goal and two assists in that stretch. Morrow has four points in seven games on a goal and three assists.

The Ducks snapped their two-game losing streak on Thursday with a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators. They improved to 4-6-1 in March and are averaging 3.2 goals per game while allowing an average of 3.5 goals per game. John Gibson returned on Thursday and stopped 33 of the 34 shots he faced. Mason McTavish is on a three-game point streak recording five assists in that stretch. McTavish also has 12 points in March on four goals and eight assists.
