Chicago Blackhawks News & Notes:

Chicago has added draft capital and young players for multiple years. In an offseason of an increased salary cap, many are worrying about offer sheets, and the Blackhawks are one of the teams that come to mind. After Bedard’s frustration over the lack of success in Chicago, I fully expect Kyle Davidson to put on a full-court press this offseason to add talent.

Colorado Avalanche News & Notes:

Colorado made a lot of roster moves this season, starting with revamping their goaltending early this year. They look to be the most improved team at the trade deadline after coming out with a 7-4 drubbing of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Players To Watch:

Chicago Blackhawks

Connor Bedard has had a frustrating season in Chicago. Now that they’ve called up Artyom Levshunov, it will be interesting to see Bedard take command of the young core as it grows.

Colorado Avalanche

Nathan MacKinnon is continuing to dominate the league in points, being the first player to hit 100 in 64 games this season.
