The Avalanche have won four of their last five games, with the latest victory being a 2-1 shootout win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday night.

Nathan MacKinnon has been in a little bit of a slump lately with only two assists in his last six games. MacKinnon is still tied for second in the NHL in scoring with 35 points (7g, 28a) in 23 games. In four games against Dallas the 29-year-old Halifax, Nova Scotia native had seven points (3g, 4a) in four games.
