Colorado Avalanche Notes:

Nathan MacKinnon scored the OT winner as the Avalanche finally got their first win, 4-3 over the Anaheim Ducks. Colorado is 9-0-0 against San Jose since the start of the 2021-22 season. Devin Toews will not play in his 4th straight game but is traveling with the team on the road trip.

San Jose Sharks Notes:

The Sharks lost a tough one on Friday night in Winnipeg, 8-3. The Sharks return home for Pixar Night in San Jose and are looking to get their first win of the year. There was optimism that phenom Macklin Celebrini would be back this weekend but the Sharks are being overly cautious with the young forward to make sure there are no long-term effects that linger throughout the season.

Kovalenko-Mittelstadt-O’Connor
Wood-Kelly-Ritchie
