The Avalanche picked up their second straight win on Sunday in a 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. MacKenzie Blackwood has posted back-to-back shutouts and hasn’t allowed a goal since the 2:29 mark of last Tuesday’s 5-2 loss to the New York Islanders. They are also 3-1-0 in their last four averaging 3.50 goals per game and allowing an average of 2.25 goals per game.

Vancouver Canucks News & Notes: 

The Canucks suffered their second straight loss as they lost 3-2 to the Detroit Red Wings in overtime on Sunday. They are 3-2-0 in their last five games and average three goals per game while allowing 2.40 goals per game. They trail the Flames for the final wild-card spot by two points.
