The Blue Jackets are outplaying expectations this season, they are currently holding the first Wild Card position in the Eastern Conference. Columbus has won four of their last five coming into tonight’s game.

James van Riemsdyk will be in the lineup tonight after suffering a high stick on Friday that knocked out four teeth and required 30 stitches.

Dallas made a splash adding Mikael Granlund and Cody Ceci from the San Jose Sharks with part of their cap space. They’re now left with $2.85m of wiggle room. The Stars have won four games in a row and are currently second in the Central Division.
