The Blue Jackets returned from the break and have won two straight most recently winning 6-4 on Tuesday over the Dallas Stars. The break came at the right time as they had dropped four straight. With the recent success, they’re now in the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference trailing the Red Wings by two points as they’ll face each other tonight and on Saturday in the Stadium Series.

The Red Wings picked up their second straight win on Tuesday with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over the Minnesota Wild. The Red Wings went down 2-0 before scoring three unanswered goals to win. Simon Edvinsson scored two goals one of which was the game-winner, and the other came from Vladimir Tarasenko. They hold the top wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
