The Blue Jackets will try to snap their six-game losing streak tonight at UBS Arena against the Islanders. Columbus has fallen four points out of the playoffs during the streak. The Blue Jackets are 11-20-4 on the road this season and will have to find some road wins if they want to climb back into contention. Columbus is 8-10-3 in the Metropolitan Division this season.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Kent Johnson is third on the Blue Jackets in scoring this season with 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 55 games. Johnson has missed time the last two seasons with injury but when healthy has been a dynamic force for the Blue Jackets. Even with injuries this season, Johnson has had a breakout year with career-highs in goals (22) and points (46) as well as tying his career-high with 24 assists. In one game against the Islanders this season the 22-year-old forward has one goal.

New York Islanders 

Bo Horvat leads the Islanders in scoring this season with 48 points (24g, 24a) in 68 games. Horvat has been hot lately with three goals in his last two games. Horvat has his third straight 20+ goal season and has an outside shot at his third straight 30+ goal season if he can stay hot during the last 13 games.
