JT Miller has been skating and Coach Rick Tocchet says, “We have a plan.” Thatcher Demko could be an option for the Canucks sometime in the next few games as he continues to work his way back from injury.

Zach Werenski had his point streak come to an end in the shutout loss to Calgary on Tuesday night, but the 27-year-old defenseman started a new streak with an assist on Thursday against Edmonton. Werenski leads the Blue Jackets with 27 points (8g, 19a) in 25 games played. The Defenseman will join Team USA for the 4 Nations Faceoff Tournament in February.

Vancouver Canucks

Jake DeBrusk has five goals in his last three games, and eight goals in his last six games. The streaky winger started slow with the Canucks but has been on fire of late. The 28-year-old Edmonton, Alberta native is fourth on the Canucks in scoring with 20 points (11g, 9a) in 24 games played.
