The Stars suffered a 5-4 shooutout loss to the Kings last night. It was Dallas’s second straight loss. They are 6-3-1 in their last ten and are averaging 3.30 goals per game while allowing an average of 2.80 goals per game. Jamie Benn has recorded a point in three straight games. This will also be the return of Mikael Granlund and Cody Ceci to San Jose after they were acquired by Dallas just a week ago. Granlund has two points in three games with Dallas while Ceci has just one point.

San Jose Sharks News & Notes:

The Sharks dropped their third straight game on Thursday in overtime 2-1 against the Vancouver Canucks. They’ve now dropped 12 of their last 14, allowing 4.21 goals per game while scoring 2.50 goals per game. Despite the skid, Tyler Toffoli is on a four-game point streak and a three-game goal streak, he has five points in his last four games on three goals and two assists.
