The Red Wings picked up a much needed win last night 5-1 to the Utah Hockey Club. They are now 3-8-0 in March averaging 2.7 goals per game while allowing 3.3 goals per game. The Red Wings also lost goalie Petr Mrazek last night who left just under two minutes into the game and did not return.

Colorado Avalanche News & Notes:

The Avalanche picked up their second straight win on Saturday with a 5-4 shootout win over the Montreal Canadiens. It was also their tenth win in their last 12 games going 10-1-1 in that stretch. They also have averaged 4.3 goals per game while allowing 2.1 goals per game.
