Detroit Red Wings News & Notes:

The Red Wings saw their seven-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday as they dropped their game against the Sharks 6-3. They are now starting a crucial four-game road trip starting with tonight’s game against the defending Stanely Cup Champions, they will face three teams in a playoff spot over the next four games and in that other game, they are facing a team that is battling with them for a playoff spot. The Red Wings are four points back of the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Florida Panthers News & Notes:

The Panthers snapped their two-game skid on Tuesday night behind a 2-1 shootout win against the New Jersey Devils. Spencer Knight has now won back-to-back starts in net with both of those resulting in a shootout. Sergei Bobrovsky has struggled in net going 1-3-1 in his last five starts posting a 2.62 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage.
