Edmonton Oilers News & Notes:

The Oilers have won four straight games and are outscoring opponents 15-5 over that span, and they look to continue their winning ways in Pittsburgh against the Penguins in a matchup of two of the all-time greats whose teams are going in different directions. This is the second and final meeting between these two teams this season, with Edmonton grabbing a 4-0 shutout victory at Rogers Place in October.

Pittsburgh Penguins News & Notes:

The Penguins have lost four in a row including three straight in extra time – shootout losses to Florida and Columbus that sandwich an overtime loss to Carolina. Pittsburgh is 11-7-3 at home this season as they try to even the season series with the Oilers 1-1.

Edmonton Oilers Thoughts: Stanley Cup Final – Game 2

There haven’t been enough mentions about Corey Perry’s subtle backhand pass on the Overtime winner.
