The Panthers had their three-game winning streak snapped in Vancouver on Thursday night with a 4-0 loss. Florida currently is tied for first in the Atlantic Division with the Toronto Maple Leafs, although the Leafs have one game in hand. The Panthers are 9-5-1 on the road and are 6-3-1 in their last ten games. Florida has a +12 goal differential this season.

The Flames lost their last game 8-3 to the Tampa Bay Lightning, and have lost three of their last four games. The Flames have been tough to beat at the Saddledome with a 10-4-1 record. Calgary is 3-5-2 in their last ten games and has a -11 goal differential on the season.

After four straight multi-point games Matthew Tkachuk was held off the score sheet in the last two games. The Panthers winger is second on the club in scoring with 30 points (10g, 20a) in 25 games played. Sam Reinhart leads the Panthers in goals with 19 after shattering his career-high with 57 goals a year ago.

Calgary Flames

Jonathan Huberdeau extended his point streak to six games after notching a goal and an assist in the Flames loss to the Lightning. Huberdeau leads Calgary in scoring with 21 points (11g, 10a) in 30 games. The Flames have struggled to score with only 78 goals this season which is 27th in the league. The Flames need players like Huberdeau and Kadri to step up their production if they want to climb back into a playoff spot.
