The Red Wings picked up a surprising 5-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night. They are still in the Eastern Conference wild-card race. Tonight will be another tough game for Detroit. The Red Wings are 4-5-1 in their last ten games, averaging 2.7 goals per game while allowing three goals per game. This is a game where they need their captain, Dylan Larkin, to step up, who, prior to Friday, had been held pointless in five straight games. He recorded two points on assists in Friday’s win.
