The Panthers are coming off back-to-back wins over the Anaheim Ducks. They outscored the Ducks 8-2 in the home and home. This month the Panthers are 5-4-1 and are scoring 2.70 goals per game while allowing 2.50 goals a game. They hold second place in the Atlantic Division trailing the Maple Leafs by three points.

Los Angeles Kings News & Notes:

The Kings dropped their second straight game and their fourth in their last five. In that span, they are allowing 2.60 goals per game while scoring 1.80 goals per game. They are now 4-4-0 in January and hold the third spot in the Pacific Division but by four points and with the skid the lead is dwindling.
