Florida Panthers News & Notes:

While losing Matthew Tkachuk during the 4 Nations break may temporarily set the Panthers back, they are pretty safely in a playoff position. If Tkachuk were to miss the remainder of the season, it would benefit Bill Zito in trade deadline acquisitions. Recently, the Panthers have been linked to Seth Jones of the Chicago Blackhawks, who is looking for a change of scenery.

Nashville Predators News & Notes:

Nashville’s Luke Schenn and his brother Brayden have hit the trade rumor mill. Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports that teams are interested in adding the brothers as a pair, albeit from two different teams.
