Matthew Tkachuk was named NHL Player of the Week, as he is currently riding a six-game point streak. In three games in December Tkachuk has 11 points (5g, 6a). The 26-year-old winger has 30 points on the season which is second on the Panthers in scoring. 

Seattle Kraken

Right-wing Oliver Bjorkstrand has six points in four games in December after producing nine points in 13 games in November. Bjorkstrand had two goals and two assists in the Kraken’s 7-5 win over the Rangers on Sunday. The 29-year-old from Herning, Denmark is second on the Lraken in points with 20 in 28 games.
