Florida Panthers News & Notes:

While the NHL trade buzz has been rampant the last week, the Florida Panthers will be shopping modestly with slim cap space and few assets to move. One position Florida will be looking to improve is defense. Since the departure of Brandon Montour, the Panthers have struggled to get the production they need from the blue line.

St. Louis Blues News & Notes:

The Blues have lost 4 out of their last five games, on top of being 11 points behind the Colorado Avalanche in the standings. Playoff hopes have passed. After terminating Brandon Saad’s contract, the Blues should be looking to add more long-term solutions.
