Vancouver Canucks News & Notes:

The Canucks are coming off a tough overtime loss to St. Louis in Thatcher Demko’s return to the goal. Demko was rusty in his return, with 21 saves on 25 shots for an .840 SV%. Players To Watch:

Florida Panthers

Aleksander Barkov has goals in three straight games and points in seven straight games to pace the Florida attack. The 29-year-old pivot had the tying goal and then scored in the shootout to help lead the Panthers to a victory over the Kraken in Seattle on Tuesday night. Barkov is third on the Panthers in scoring with 29 points (9g, 20a) in 21 games, behind Sam Reinhart (39 points), and Matthew Tkachuk (30 points).

Vancouver Canucks

Jake DeBrusk has goals in seven of his last nine games. Over that span, DeBrusk has ten goals and two helpers to lead the Vancouver attack along with Quinn Hughes. Hughes should be the front-runner for the Norris Trophy with 32 points in 27 games. He is the engine that makes the Canucks go.
