Los Angeles Kings Notes:

The Kings are in the middle of a 7-game road trip to start the season, after dropping three straight games, they won their last game 4-1 in Montreal. Kings goalie David Rittich rebounded with 26 saves in the victory a day after getting pulled in Toronto when he gave up 4 goals on 14 shots. Los Angeles will travel to Vegas on Tuesday before finally playing their first home game on Thursday, October 24 against the San Jose Sharks.

Anaheim Ducks Notes:

The Ducks lost their last game, 4-3 in overtime to a desperate Avalanche team. Anaheim struggled to score goals a year ago, with only 203 while surrendering 293. The Ducks have seemed to address their defensive issues early this season, with only 11 goals allowed in 4 games. A fix to some of the problems that plagued the Ducks defensively a year ago will allow Anaheim to remain competitive throughout the season.
