The Kings beat the Florida Panthers 2-1 on January 22 to snap a two-game losing streak. Los Angeles has been 2-3-0 in their last five games and will be tested as they head out on a five-game road trip that begins tonight in Columbus. The Kings have been breaking even on the road with an 11-11-4 record. Los Angeles won the first matchup between these two clubs with a 5-2 victory in LA on November 9.

Columbus Blue Jackets News & Notes:

Tonight is the first game in Columbus after the Blue Jackets returned from a four-game road trip where they went 1-2-1. Columbus sits in the second wild-card spot and has been tremendous at home this season trying to extend a four-game home winning streak and is 16-5-3 overall at Nationwide Arena.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Zach Werenski has points in back-to-back games and leads the Blue Jackets with 53 points (15g. 38a) from the back end. The 27-year-old defenseman has 13 points (4g, 9a) in 11 games in January.
