Minnesota started the 2023-24 season with a 3-5-2 record in the first ten games. What a difference a year makes, the Wild have started the 2024-25 season with an 8-1-2 record and are only trailing the white-hot Winnipeg Jets in the Central Division. Brandt Clarke has been an offensive threat for LA since he was drafted with the 8th pick in the first round of the 2021 NHL draft. Clarke has 3 goals and 16 assists for 19 points in 37 career NHL games. The 21-year-old defenseman is in his first full year with the Kings and is having a breakout season with 11 points (1g, 10a) in 12 games.

Minnesota Wild

Matt Boldy has goals in two straight games. The 23-year-old former Boston College Eagle scored in overtime to defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 on Sunday night and had the game-winner in a 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 1. Boldy is second on the team in scoring with 13 points (6g, 7a) in 11 games this season.
