In his first game since October 14, Goaltender Darcy Keumper stopped 24 of 26 shots en route to a 3-2 win over the Utah Hockey Club. Kings defensemen scored all three goals in the win, with Joel Edmundson netting a pair of tallies and Brandt Clarke adding a goal and an assist.

The Sharks have already set a record for futility as the only team in history to start back-to-back seasons without a win through the first nine games. Last night, the Sharks were able to get in the win column against the Utah Hockey Club. But it doesn’t get any easier as the Los Angeles Kings travel to San Jose tonight.
