Minnesota Wild News & Notes:

The Wild have won four straight games and are tied for first place in the Central Division with the Winnipeg Jets. Minnesota is a league-best 10-1-3 on the road this season. The Wild have a +20 goal differential this season with 80 goals scored and 60 allowed. Minnesota is 7-2-1 in their last ten games. The Wild won the previous meeting between these two teams 5-2 on November 11.

Anaheim Ducks News & Notes:

The Anaheim Ducks traded Urho Vaakanainen and a 4th round pick in 2025 for Jacob Trouba. The trade is a bold move to add some toughness and experience to a blueline that already includes Radko Gudas. The Ducks D Corps will be even more difficult to play against. The Ducks are in last place in the Pacific Division but have played better of late as Anaheim is 5-4-1 in their last ten games.

Foligno-Hartman-Johansson

Karil Kaprizov has goals in back-to-back games and points in each of his last four games. The 27-year-old Russian is third in the NHL in scoring with 39 points (16g, 23a) in 24 games. Kaprizov is on pace for 128 points which would be a career high. It would be his most points since the 5-foot-10 left winger had 108 points in the 2021-22 season.
