The Canadiens won their second straight on Tuesday with a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. They’ve now won seven of their last nine, they are averaging 3.33 goals per game in that span while allowing 2.89 goals per game. Jakub Dobes has been a key piece to the Canadiens’ success, he is undefeated in five career starts posting a 1.55 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage.

Detroit Red Wings News & Notes:

The Red Wings are coming off their third straight loss, this time they managed to salvage a point losing 2-1 to the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime. They finished a four-game road trip going 1-2-1. It’s been a rough stretch following a seven-game win streak and they enter tonight sitting five points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
